Biography —
Marcus is a Lead Undergraduate Research Assistant within the CARE Center, where he primarily works on the BEST-U study, which aims to provide accessible eating disorder treatment to college students through a mobile phone app. Marcus is currently a senior pursuing a double major in Psychology and Management and Leadership. After graduation, he plans to apply to Ph.D. programs in Clinical Psychology. In his free time, Marcus enjoys spending time with friends and family, thrifting, trying new coffee spots, and helping out on his family farm.
Research —
Marcus's research interests focus on the presentation of eating disorders among male and masculine-identifying individuals, with a particular interest in understanding muscularity-oriented disordered eating.
