Biography —
Macyn is a Project Coordinator within the CARE branch of the lab. She primarily coordinates the Center's studies funded by the US Department of Defense, which are investigating the validation of a newly developed eating disorder screening tool in military populations.
She obtained her B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience in May of 2026 and she plans to apply for Ph.D. Programs in Clinical Psychology to continue researching the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of eating disorders. In her free time, she enjoys baking, crafting, and spending time with her partner and their animals.

Macyn's current research interests include the driving factors and clinical implications of binge-eating episode size in individuals with eating disorders, and how these episodes are diagnostically defined among providers.
