Biography —
Fiona is a senior studying psychology and minoring in journalism and mass communications. During her junior year, she studied psychology at UCD in Dublin, Ireland, specifically taking courses in lifespan, developmental, and cross-cultural psychology. Her favorite things include traveling, bully-breed dogs, interior design and nostalgic tv-shows.
Research —
Although Fiona has a wide range of research interests, she is particularly curious about the role of culture in shaping body dissatisfaction. She is also interested in exposure to the thinness ideal and its possible connections to pediatric body image and self-worth development. In the future, she intends to apply to Psychology Ph.D. programs.
